Research on the Order-keeping Property of Several Grey Relational Models

This paper investigates the order-keeping problem of representative grey relational analysis (GRA) models. There are many GRA models are presented, however there is no discussion whether each GRA model satisfies order-keeping property. The fundamental idea of GRA model is that the closeness of a relationship is judged based on the similarity level of the geometric patterns of sequence curves. But whether the value of GRA degree keeps invariable when sequences are done with the parallel transformation or the multiple transformation. Order-keeping property is defined to scale this point and it is an important index to distinguish a grey relational model good or bad. In this paper, we provided the definitions of parallel and multiple order-keeping properties and analyzed the order-keeping properties of several representative GRA models. It is meaningful to amend existent grey relational model and propose new grey relational models.
