Fitting precision of GM(1,1) and Verhulst model is analyzed in this paper. The results show that initial value has important influence on GM(1,1) and Verhulst model fitting precision. In order to improve precision of GM(1,1) and Verhulst model, based on minimum information principle of grey system theory, that is exploiting existed minimum information fully, initial value is optimized by using Matlab. Calculation results show that the highest precision curve may pass through interior point or exterior point of x^(1) sequence, and the precision of which is higher than ordinary GM model. Furthermore, this paper provides some Matlab source codes of optimized GM(1,1) model and Verhulst model.
