GM(0,N)Model -Based Analysis of the Influence Factors of Network English Learning Platform

With the continuous development of network technology and the application of College English Curriculum Requirements, which requires the implementation of information technology be applied to college English teaching, college English autonomous learning platform is also at the historic moment. While the network provides a good learning environment for students with its incomparable advantages, it also brings some unexpected problems. Based on this, using GM (0,N) model of grey system theory, the author analyzes the weight of the influence factors of the network English teaching platform in Fujian International Business & Economic College by questionnaire. It covers 9 influence factors, including students’ interest in network English learning platform, the learning plan, the quality of the network resources, the teacher’s guidance, the effect of peers’ collaboration in network learning, and the improvement of students’ English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. And the output is whether the traditional classroom teaching mode is likely to be completely replaced by the network teaching mode or not. Then the weight of each factor is calculated through GM (0,N) model. The calculation result of the three grades shows that the biggest weight is the improvement of students’ English reading. So a conclusion can be drawn that no matter in what grade the students are, improving English reading is their eternal theme, and of course, there is s also a slight difference among different grades. It is hoped that the research results of this paper have some reference and value for improving the quality and mode of college English teaching in the current network environment.
