插畫設計意象之研究_以日本插畫大賽為例

摘要


日本插畫大賽自2005年起由日本插畫家協會(JIA)舉辦,被認為是具代表性的插畫設計競賽。本研究目的為探討插畫設計意象,提供插畫繪圖設計者設計參考。本研究樣本以2005年至2021年「日本插畫大賽」年度得獎設計,樣本桃選於歷年獎項的前兩名大獎(最優秀獎)、金獎(特別委員獎、優秀獎)以及排名在大獎、金獎之後的霍爾拜因獎和翔泳社獎,共計51件研究樣本。kJ法操作於2022年3月16日,參與研究小組成員共10位。研究運用kJ法,以插畫設計意象之研究為主題,進行插畫設計之議題討論,得出「色彩學」、「角色設定」、「角色行為」、「視覺畫面構成」、「場景設定」、「表現技法」、「載體」七大項目。衍生出28小項。根據研究分析發現,日本插畫大賽選取樣本的插畫設計意象,在畫面上重視角色的設定以及角色的行為。除此之外,設計表現技法以及風格呈現多元緊跟當今技法呈現與流行趨勢。結合材質、紋理以及文本等元素。對於視覺畫面的構成配合色彩明暗畫面層次感,以及搭配場景的設計使視覺畫面更加豐富,使人感受到插畫設計的故事情境氛圍。

The Japan Illustration Award has been held by the Japan Illustrators Association (JIA) since 2005 and is considered a representative illustration design competition. The purpose of this study is to explore the imagery of illustration design and to provide design references for illustration and graphic designers. This research sample is designed with the annual winners of the "Japan Illustration Award" from 2005 to 2021. The samples are selected from the Top Awards (the Best Award), Gold Award (Special Committee Award, Excellence Award), Holbein Award and Shoeisha Award, a total of 51 research samples. The kJ method operates on March 16, 2022 from 15:40 pm to 22:50 pm. A total of 10 members of the research team participated. The research uses the kJ method to discuss the issues of illustration design with the theme of the study of illustration design imagery. Seven major items are obtained: "Color Science", "Character Setting", "Character Behavior", "Visual Screen Composition", "Scene Setting", "Expression Technique" and "Carrier". 28 sub-items are derived. According to the research and analysis, the Japanese Illustration Award selects the illustration design image of the sample, and attaches great importance to the setting of the character and the behavior of the character on the screen. In addition, the design expression techniques and styles are diversified to keep up with the current techniques and fashion trends. Combining elements such as materials, textures, and text. The composition of the visual picture is matched with the layering of the color light and dark picture, and the design of the matching scene makes the visual picture richer and makes people feel the atmosphere of the story of the illustration design.
