臺灣地區農地與坡地代表土壤的選定與其相關資料庫的建立

Representative Soils Selected from Arable and Slope Soils in Taiwan and Their Database Establishment

摘要


臺灣地區之土壤在21世紀要能永續被利用且維持良好的土壤品質與健康,在各縣市及各地區農業改良場之轄區內選定代表性的土系,作為農業研究、技術推廣及擴大土壤資源保育教育,是有其必要的。經過考慮後,各縣市代表性土系必需具備面積大與對農作物之生產有巨大貢獻等條件。而各地區農業改良場轄區內之代表性土系除考慮上述兩條件外,必需兼具特別的土壤分類單位或土綱名稱等。初步選定各縣市之代表土系為5個左右,各區農改場轄區內之代表土系為10個左右,臺灣地區代表土系在50個左右。各區農改場宜製作代表縣市土系之摺頁手冊及建立相關的電腦資料庫供農民使用及土壤研究者查詢。

For the sustainability of land use and maintenance of soil quality in Taiwan soils in the 21st century, it is necessary to select the representative soils in different counties and district agricultural improvement stations in order to extend the agricultural technology and education on the conservation of soil resource. The criteria of representative soil of county are area of soil series and their contribution in agricultural production. The criteria of representative soils in agricultural improvement stations also include special Soil Order in Taiwan. About 5 soil series are selected as county soils and about 10 soil series are selected as improvement station soils. Finally, 50 soil series are suggested to be as the Taiwan representative soils. The different district agricultural improvement stations should publish the brochures of representative soils and also establish the related computer databases of representative soils for farmers and persons who studied the soil sciences.
