研發聯盟動機類型與績效之研究－電子資訊業之實證

摘要

近年來對廠商參與各種形式合作研發之問題的研究，正逐漸受到國內外學者與實務界之重視。這是因為在技術快速進步與益趨科技融合之環境下，合作研發已成為廠商快速自外部取得技術之有效途徑。本文從交易成本等理論之觀點出發，建立一個廠商參與科技專案研發聯盟動機類型與績效之理論研究架構。同時指出廠商特質與技術特性乃影響廠商參與研發聯盟之決定性因素，並且也是廠商參與聯盟動機類型之歸類依據，以及影響聯盟之合作研發績效的關鍵。在實證研究方面，本文以參與工研院主導之電子資訊類科技專案之廠商為對象。除了驗證本文所建立理論架構之適當性外，並提出供政府科技政策參與之建議， 以及未來值得進一步研究之方向。

The SMEs had few opportunities for the technology acquisitions directly from the technology import Futhermore, within the rapidly changing envimoment, the more complexity of technology, and the more shorter the technnological life cycle, the explosive R&D cost which decreasing the firm's R&D in-house. So, for the purpose to meet both the internal and external changing envimoment, to participate in the government-sponsored R&D consortia might be the second-best solutions. Recently, the most Taiwanese reserach institutions all involve in the tasks of R&D consortia. This study want to investigate the theoretic logics of the firm's participation in the R&D consortia, and identify the true reasoning for the consortia. We also want to clarify the motives of the participators, based on the transaction cost theory, strategic behavior, organization learning theory, and the resource dependent theory. On the empirical study, we use the firm participating ITRI's electric & information R&D consortia, to test the propositions about our theoretical framework. We also suggested the future research topics and the implications both for the individual SME and the government.
