五種台灣產獼猴桃屬植物抗氧化活性及其總多酚類成分含量之研究

Antioxidant Activity and Total Polyphenol Content of Five Species of Actinidia

摘要


背景/目的 本研究擬探討台灣產獼猴桃屬植物之抗氧化活性及其總多酚類成分含量之間關係的研究,以期開發台灣固有藥用植物資源。 方法 本研究探討五種台灣產獼猴桃屬植物,包括台灣羊桃(Actinidia cbinensis P(下標 LANCH) var. setosa Li, ACS)、闊葉獼猴桃(A. latifolia (Gardn.&Champ) Merr, AL)、紅莖獼猴桃(A. rubricaulis Dunn,AR)、駝齒獼猴桃(A. callosa var. epbippioidea,ACE)、硬齒獼猴桃(A. callosa var. callosa, ACC)等,以50%乙醇萃取其莖部分析抗氧化活性;研究方法有Trolox總抗氧化能力、FRAP法、DPPH自由基清除染色法、清除DPPH自由基能力、還原力等,並將這些樣品進行總多酣類和黃酮醇類成分含量測定,以瞭解其抗氧化作用與總酚類含量之間的關係。 結果 在五種獼猴桃屬植物中以硬齒獼猴桃具有最高的總抗氧化活性及總多酚類含量。 結論 本研究證明五種台灣產獼猴桃屬植物之抗氧化活性與其總多酚類成分含量有正相關性。

Background/Purpose. To evaluate the relationship between the antioxidant activity and total polyphenolic content in five species of Actinidia in Taiwan. Methods. Using the Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity assay (TEAC), Ferric Reducing Ability Assay (FRAP), DPPH staining, and the DPPH radical scavenging and reducing power method, we examined the antioxidant activities, as well as the total amount of polyphenol and flavonol contained in 50% ethanolic extracts of five Actinidia species: Actinidia chinensis P(subscript LANCH) var. setosa Li (ACS), A. latifolia (Gardn. & Champ.) Merr. (AL), A. rubricaulis Dunn (AR), A. callosa var. ephippioidea (ACE), and A. callosa var. callosa (ACC). Results. ACC had the highest total antioxidant activity and the greatest amount of total polyphenol content among the five species of Actinidia. Conclusion. The antioxidant activities of the five species of Actinidia varied significantly and correlated strongly with total polyphenol content.
