The advancement of cellular phones, computers and internet network communication technology has changed working styles and locations of western developed nations, where, as pointed out in present literatures, teleworking is widely applied to enhance working effeciency, working life quality, balancing work-family life, etc. However, whether the same advantages of the aforesaid working style also exist in a Chinese cultural context, and there be any effect different from the ones in the western world remained unanswered. The study examines 700 teleworkers and conventional workers in Taiwan, R.O.C. and the result shows that the benefits generated by teleworking in the western developed nations also exist in the Chinese cultural context. In addition, different from the western counterparts, there are no internal communication problems exist in teleworking in Chinese cultural context and also no trust problems between the company and teleworkers.
