摘要

本論文之目的在於，透過調查句逗點中的「中點」在論說文中的實際 使用情形，來了解其用法及問題點。 句逗點之研究常被視為文體的一部分，但其研究多集中在句點和逗點，「中點」很少被提出討論。「［句逗法］（案）」等先行研究少量的描述中，也多屬於規範性的敘述，並無實際調查的研究。本研究針對2000年朝日新聞的「論壇」做調查，得知「中點」使用的實際情形及問題點如下。 a. 名稱及表記方式不一致。 b. 使用率不低。 c. 可分為2 種8 類的用法。 d. 兼具「分割力」跟「結合力」。 e. 「並列」的用法跟「逗點」相同，但「結合力」則只存在於「中點」。 f. 某些用例意思曖昧不明。 調查結果得知，「中點」實際使用情形與「［句逗法］（案）」的提案及先行研究的敘述有很大的落差。這個現象提醒我們有必要忠實地記錄「中點」的使用情形。

Goal of this paper lies in understanding the usage and the question of middle point and its actual usage Research on the punctuation is often regarded as a part in writing. However, its research concentrates on the period and the comma. Middle point is scarcely proposed and we can find few descriptions on it. This research focuses on the investigations of RONDAN (a forum from Asahi News) in 2000. The actual situation and question are as follows.
a. Name and inscription are not standardized.
b. Use frequency is not low under any condition.
c. 2 kinds and 8 types in usage could be observed.
d. With the power connected and unconnected.
e. There is a common usage in parallel which is the same as comma, but the connected power lies in middle point only.
f. Ambiguous usage.
The result goes that the actual condition is being widely different from the preceding research. This has suggested the necessity of the research which describes the usage of actual condition of middle point.
