摘要


矯正治療時,牙齒在骨頭中重塑形,一邊進行骨吸收,一邊進行骨生成反應。生長激素類/胰島素生長因素系統已經被證實為骨生成反應的指標,然而卻尚未應用於牙醫學領域中。本文的焦點放在此系統內的生長激素、類胰島素生長因素-1、類胰島素生長因素結合蛋白-3、以及類胰島素生長因素結合蛋白-5。分别探討這些指標物質與骨生成反應的關係與未來可能的展望。

People seed orthodontic treatment not only because of oral health but also establishment of self confidence. Tooth movement during orthodontic treatment is associated with bone remodeling. Bone formation occurs on the tension side faraway the dental root due to osteoblastic activity and bone resorption happens on the compression side respectively. Serum GH/IGF axis has been in proof as a bone formation indicator, but never mentioned among dental treatments. This review article is focused to the associated indexes of hGH, IGF-1, IGFBP-3, and IGFBP-5 in GH/IGF axis. They are discussed respectively with biologic response and possibilities in the future.
