摘要
安格氏二級第二類異常咬合的病例，經常伴隨著骨骼前後及垂直方向的缺陷，在垂直深咬的案例中，常常發現是導因於下顎向前生長受到限制所造成。在治療二級第二類深咬的病人當中，矯正醫師常常發現在垂直深咬獲得改善後，下顎的生長才能完全地表現出來。

Class Ⅱ Division 2 malocclusion presents a combination of anteroposterior and vertical skeletal discrepancies. A deep overbite may be responsible for restricting the development of the forward growth of the mandible. In treating Class Ⅱ Division 2 deep overbite patients, orthodontists have the clinical impression that once the deep overbite is corrected, the mandible is free to fully express its horizontal growth component. The following case reveals an example of the previous description.
