Application of computers in teaching and its assessment is one of the most important trends in learning field nowadays. The multi-media function of computer makes it possible to integrate words, pictures, sound, images, video and animation together. Thus, it becomes especially popular to apply computers in the test and assessment of the language learning field in that the listening, speaking, reading and writing ability are emphasized. In terms of the assistance of the multi-media and network, tests and assessment will be performed more precisely. As a result, the study aims to introduce and analyze advantages and disadvantages of computerized tests in language learning field and furthermore, to proceed the design and development of computerized tests in this field.
