教學文化的概念探討

The Study of Teaching Cultures

摘要


教學文化是一教師群體習得或演化形成的共享之複雜整體,它是教師生活與工作的一個重要層面,不僅為教師及其教學工作賦予意義、支持與認同,同時也影響教師教學信念及知識的發展。教學文化的探究不僅有助於補足現行基於「個體心理學」之教學研究典範的不足,亦有助於我們瞭解學校參與教育改革的深層結構,進而探究教師發展與教育變革的可能性與限制。本文的目的旨在分析與整合相關文獻,探討教學文化的相關概念與內涵,並進而提出一綜合性的定義與架構,文末則以「朝向以『學習社群』為典範的教學文化」作為結語,期能有助於進一步探究與涵化我國教學文化的方向與基礎。

Teaching cultures are embodied in the work-related beliefs and knowledge teachers shared. They help give meaning, support and identity to teachers and their work. If we want to understand what the teacher does and why, we must also understand the teaching community, the work culture of which that teacher is a part. The study aims to inquire the conception of teaching cultures, and the implication for educational reform. It also suggests a teaching culture toward learning community paradigm.
