教育機會均等議題與偏遠學校教育資源分配之探究-以一所國中特色課程的發展為例

A Study on Educational Equality and the Resource Distribution of a Rural School: The Development of the Featured Curriculum in a Junior High Case School

摘要


本研究旨在探討教育機會均等的理念與實施概況,藉由探訪偏遠地區國中發展特色課程的過程,了解偏遠學校教育資源分酣的概況,以反映教育機會均等理念的落實情形。首先,探討教育機會均等概念的內涵和教育資源分配對偏遠學校的影響;其次,透過實地走訪一所偏遠地區的學校個案,探究學校發展特色課程的緣起、過程與成果,了解過程中遭遇的問題和解決途徑,以及反映偏遠學校的教育資源分酣困境。綜合來看,本研究發現學校特色課程的發展係源於實際問題的解決,在校長的領導下結合校內外資源,推動球隊、龍隊和合作學習等特色課程,有助於改善學校課程發展和實踐的困境;不過,它也反映出人力和經費不足的嚴重問題,進而影響其課程實踐的品質。最後,提出本研究的建議和後續研究的方向。

The study aimed to investigate the practice and the ideas of equality of educational opportunity. It explored the implementation of ideas of educational equality and the status of educational resource distribution in rural junior high schools. First, it discussed the concept of equality of educational opportunity, and the impact of educational resource allocation on the rural school curriculum practice. Secondly, it inquired into the field of a rural junior high school with in-depth interview to realize the development of the school featured curriculum, and to reflect the reality and problems of resources allocation and use. Finally, it concluded and then provided suggestions for educational reform and further study.
