民衆對於齒顎矯正認知程度及影響其接受因素之探討

摘要

目的：探討民衆對於齒顎矯正的認知程度與影響其接受之因素。材料：以台南市某牙科診所病患為研究對象，計400人，採問卷調查法以便利抽樣方式進行。結果：大多數的受訪者同意齒顎矯正後會改善臉部外觀。暴牙、虎牙、戽斗、唇突是最會影響臉部外觀的因素。女性26~40歲的成年人、大專院校以上者對齒顎矯正的認知程度較高。性別與影響其接受齒顎矯正的因素，逹到顯著性差異的項目有：費用昂貴、治療時間過久等，以女性居多。不同年齡層者對於影響其接受齒顎矯正之因素，主要為影響臉部外觀。在教育程度方面，以高中職者較在乎費用問題與治療時間的長短。結論：希望本研究所得結果，可以給予相關單位參考，以利齒顎矯正醫療之發展。

Purpose: To find out people's recognition tendency of corrective orthodontics and the influent factors of its acceptability. Material: Convenience sampling was employed to collect questionnaire samples from 400 individuals who were interviewed from the patients of one particular dental clinic in Tainan City. Results: Most interviewed individuals agree that corrective orthodontics will improve the look of the face. The most influent factors of the look of the face are related to tusk prominence, bailer, and lip. Gender in female, the age of 26 to 40, and above college level of education showed high recognition tendency of corrective orthodontics. Significant differences for gender and the influent factors of corrective orthodontics acceptability are resulted from female, expensive cost and long duration treatment. In addition, the look of the face is one of the major influent factors when the age level is considered. The individuals with education level above senior high school are more concerned about expense and the length of treatment time. Conclusion: The results of this study can be a reference and provide for relating dental clinics and institutes as the treatment of corrective orthodontics is introduced.
