圖形教學運用於資訊安全認知訓練之研究

A Study of Applying Graphical Instruction to Information Security Awareness Training

摘要


隨著資訊發達的時代演進,資訊安全也越被大眾所重視,資訊安全的推動也越顯重要。根據Datapro Research Corporation的資安調查,約50%資安事件是起因於人為失誤所造成,因此如何提高人員之資安認知(Information Security Awareness)是一個非常基本且重要的資安議題。 本研究嘗試採用Furnell等人(2002)提出的圖形教學法,運用於資訊安全認知訓練,實際建立實體與環境安全認知之圖形介面教材,並實施教學實驗與學習評量測驗,以驗證圖形教學運用於資訊安全認知訓練之學習績效。 本研究結果發現:(1)使用圖形教學或一般教學,對於提升資訊安全認知均有其效果;(2)圖形教學用於資訊安全認知訓練比一般教學較具學習績效。 因此,未來在資訊安全認知訓練方面若能適度地運用圖形教學,則能有效提升學習者的學習績效。

In recent years, the rapid progress of Internet has seen huge losses by organizations and enterprises due to lack of information security awareness. Therefore the promotion of information security becomes an important issue. According to the research on information security by Datapro Research Corporation, personal careless mistakes lead to almost 50% of information security events. Hence raising personal information security awareness is a basic and very important issue. By applying Furnell's (2002) graphical instruction method to information security awareness training, this paper first creates the graphical instruction for physical and environmental security issues. Then an experiment and a test are performed to verify the learning performance. This research reveals that (1) both graphical instruction and general and traditional instructions are effective for the learning performance of information security awareness, and (2) the learning performance of graphical instruction is higher than that of general and traditional instructions. In the future, graphical instruction may be applied to other topics of information security awareness and training for increasing the learning performance.
