As times change and the progress in industry and in business, the development of management theory with application to nursing management has been divided into three stages: traditional management, modified management and new development management. For each stage, there are different sects based on different theoretical basis. However, in order to make constant improvement in nursing, nursing management not only sustains the strength of traditional management, but also adopts the suggestions of new development management theory.
