Robots and Application in Healthcare

摘要

由於人口老化、勞動成本增加、技術革新等全球化衝擊，吸引世界各國積極投入機器人技術與產品開發。機器人指可重複編程的自動控制裝置，可依應用領域分為工業機器人與服務機器人，工業機器人應用於工業自動化，執行重複而單調的任務，提高生產效率。服務機器人於所處環境自主執行指定任務，滿足個人或專業領域需求。本文提出幾項應用實例說明機器人在醫療產業的應用，包括：達文西手術系統、奈米機器人、社交機器人與陪伴機器人，建議未來對機器人研究的探討方向。

With the aging population coming an increase in labor costs and a larger global impact of the technology revolution, resulting in countries' attraction to development of robotic technology and production. A robot is an automatically controlled machine that is reprogrammable to execute tasks. The robots have industrial robots and service robots according to the application of territory. Industrial robots are used to perform a single repeated task for the efficiency of productivity in the automated industry. Service robots perform the programmed tasks for individual or professional needs. This article takes some examples to illustrate the application of robots in the healthcare industry, including da Vinci Xi System for surgery, Nano robot, social robot, and Paro Therapeutic Robot, and recommends further explorative research on the use of robots in the future.
