車流特性對車間通訊之影響分析

Impact of Traffic Characteristics on Inter-Vehicle Communications

摘要


智慧型運輸系統(Intelligent Transportation Systems, ITS)透過電子、通訊及其他科技產品的應用成功的達到改善交通問題,其中包括減少事故的發生、提升運輸的效率。車間通訊(Inter-Vehicle Communication, IVC)是智慧型運輸系統裡面重要的一環,藉由專用短距通訊技術(Dedicated Short Range Communication, DSRC)可以負責交通資訊系統的蒐集與傳播的工作。而車輛行動網路(Vehicular Ad hoc Network, VANET)的研究,必須考量無線通訊網路與交通特性彼此的影響。本研究提出一VANET整合模擬模式,結合了網路模擬工具(NS2)以及動態交通模擬指服派模式(DynaTAIWAN),並透過VANET整合之模擬模式以觀察不同交通情境下對無線通訊網路的影響。

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) aim at increasing the efficiency of existing surface transportation systems through the use of advanced computers, electronics, and communication technologies. Wireline and wireless communications are deployed in the ITS contexts, and wireless communication has become special and important features of ITS. The new concept of Telematics has been realized as Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII) and Inter-Vehicle Communications (IVC), and VII is defined as the establishment of vehicle to vehicle and vehicle to roadside communication capability in an area network. VII and IVC enable a number of new services that provide significant safety, mobility, and commercial benefits. With the innovation and advancement of communications, Telematics, the integration of telecommunications and informatics, need to be incorporated into new generation of traffic analysis methods. In this research, an integrated simulation framework is proposed to simulate vehicular flows and information flows simultaneously in order to study possible benefits and difficulties of VII and IVC in a realistic environment. The vehicle movement is simulated by DynaTAIWAN, a native simulation-assignment model. The communication simulation is achieved through NS2.
