Both Li Bai and Du Pu are the greatest poets in China. There are lots of descriptions about Du in the history; on the contrast, there is almost nothing about Li. In Du's poetry anthology, there are altogether fifteen poems describing Li's image, and he is also the first person to do so. Du's all-around descriptions about Li provide important materials for scholars to study. Besides, they bring the descendants much space to imagine Li as well. Because Du spends much time writing these fifteen poems; therefore, each of them has a different way depicting Li. These poems not only contain Du's unique perspective but change with what Li's encountered. This thesis will focus on "image", "mind", "great talent", and "Taoism" in these fifteen poems to study Li, and then try to explain Du's comments on Li.
