《七志》置《孝經》於「經典志」之首的學術涵義

The Academic Significances of Arranging "Xieo Jing" First in "Jing-Dian Zhi" Among "Qi Zhi"

摘要


漢.班固(32-92)《漢書.藝文志》以六藝為七略之首,為後世目錄學所遵循。雖然魏晉六朝時期,曾有七分與四分之爭,然而無論如何,大致上多以六藝為首。觀南齊.王儉(452-489)所編之《七志》亦是如此。然而,值得注意的是,王儉《七志》在六藝的內容次序上,與《漢書.藝文志》有很大的不同。《漢書.藝文志》以《易》冠六藝之首,而《七志》卻將《孝經》置於為六藝之首。以王儲此舉而言,不但空前而且絕後,既非循班固之前例,亦不為後世目錄學家所依從,實為目錄學、經學或學術史上的罕見現象。有鑑於此,實有必要對此罕見之現象進行探討。然而,由於《七志》本身已經亡佚,故本文首當以證明王儉《七志》確實置《孝經》為六藝之首為優先步驟,而後再探討基於何種學術涵義之下,導致王儉將《孝經》置為六藝之首,而不是依循班固《漢書.藝文志》以《易》為首的次序。

Wang Jian in Nan-Qi Dynasty edits Qi-Zhi independently. In terms of the arrangement order of "Liu-yi", Wang' edition is notably different from Ban Gu's edition in one particular aspect; that is, Ban Gu arranges "Yi-jing" first among all the others in "Yi-Wen-Zhi" in Han-Xu while Wang arranges "Xiao-jing" first. This essay attempts to deliberate this particular difference, and to clarify the possible reasons as well as the academic significances.
