Jejunal varices are occasionally caused by cirrhosis of the liver. Here we report a case of cirrhosis of the liver associated with jejunal varices and unexpected discovery of stage1B lung adenocarcinoma. The patient presented to the emergency department with dizziness due to one-week bloody stools. She recovered well with thoracoscopic right lower lobectomy followed by ligation of jejunal varices. Co-occurrence of jejunal varices and lung cancer is rare in patients with cirrhosis of the liver. The diagnosis and treatment process are worth reporting.
