長期照護機構老人虐待及保護是非常重要的居住權利問題,而住民居住權利的倡導必須透過政策及教育宣導;老人虐待預防及保護必須從機構環境互動系統、住民及照護人員特性,以及通報系統與保護措施的訂定。工作人員應避免在照顧過程中因過度的照顧行為,造成住民身體或心理的傷害,也要避免導致機構老人虐待的行為發生。在不斷要求機構維持照護品質的同時,機構第一線工作人員也需要住民及家屬的信任與認同,避免成為另一類被虐待的對象。本文希望透過相關議題的探討,提出長期照護機構住民居住權利的倡導及機構老人虐待預防保護可行之方向,讓住民免於被照護的恐懼、找回居住的權利。
The elderly abuse and protection in the long-term care facility is a very important issue of residence rights, which should be promoted through education and policy advocacy. Elderly abuse prevention and protection must be set from the Organization of environmental interaction system, residents and caregiver characteristics, as well as communication system and protection measures. Staff should avoid mistreatment practices in the care process causing physical or mental harm, and also avoid residents abuse happening. In addition to maintain the quality of care, the first line of staff not only need to be trusted by residents and their families, but also have to avoid being abused. From discussion of related issues, this thesis tries to point out a way to prevent from abuse happening in long-term care facility. It helps residents live far from fear and get their rights back.
