對自行車租賃業者而言,如何在給定的自行車車隊及需求量下,考量營運目標與限制,有效地佈署及調度自行車,為決策者之一重要課題。目前實務界的租賃業者一般以人工經驗進行自行車之佈署及調度,其過程除效率不佳外,亦難以掌握求解的品質,常求得不佳的解。因此,本研究在給定租賃業者的自行車車隊及需求量下,考量相關的營運目標及限制條件,利用時空網路流動技巧,分別構建二個最佳化模式,以幫助決策者求解系統營運中之最佳的自行車佈署與調度。為測試模式的實用績效,本研究參考國內某縣市公共自行車租賃系統之實際營運資料,進行範例測試。初步結果甚佳,顯示本研究模式應可為實務自行車租賃業者之參考,以改善其自行車之佈署與調度。
It is a major issue for rental bike carriers to effectively deploy their bikes, considering operating objectives and constraints given rental bike demands. Currently the manual way based on staff experiences is adopted to do such deployments in practice, which is not only inefficient but also difficult to ensure solution quality, usually resulting in inferior solutions. In this research, considering the operating objectives and related constraints the authors employ the time-space network flow technique to construct two optimization models, given the rental bike fleet size and demand, to optimally solve the rental bike deployment problem, in order to help rental bike carriers effectively deploy bikes to service sites. To evaluate the models in practice, a case study is performed using real operating data from a Taiwan public rental bike system. The preliminary results are good, showing that the proposed models could be useful references for rental bike carriers to improve their bike deployments.
