菊花組織培養之誘變育種

Mutation Breeding of Chrysanthemum via Tissue Culture

摘要


菊花有30%品種為變異種,且菊花組織培養之分化與逆分化非常容易調控,因此本文介紹利用葉片或花托癒傷組織、或花托培養等方法,配合γ-射線照射進行誘變育種。另外,對嵌鑲變異的花瓣也可以利用經癒傷組織再生方法,得到純色花朵的植株。經誘變處理所得到的變異株,改變的性狀有花色、花大小、花序排列等。此種誘變育種,可以在2年內得到新品種。

Thirty percentage of chrysanthemum cultivars were mutants. In addition, the differentiation and dedifferentiation of chrysanthemum in tissue culture were regulated easily. In this paper, callus culture, derived from leaf or petal, and capitulum culture combined with irradiation of γ-ray for mutation were introduced. Furthermore, chimera petal through callus culture could regenerate plantlet with uniform petals. The mutants via mutation changed the characteristics, such as flower color, size and inflorescence. These mutation methods can induce mutants in 2 years.
