Primary Psoas Abscess Due to Methicillin-Sensitive Staphylococcus Aureus: A Case Report
非抗藥性金黃色葡萄球菌造成之原發性腰大肌膿瘍－病例報告
摘要
腰大肌膿瘍是一可以表現症狀不明顯的相對少見之疾病。其漸進性發展與隱匿的特質常造成診斷上的延誤，導致於嚴重的死亡率及罹病率。我們報告一罹患非抗藥性金黃色葡萄球菌造成之原發性腰大肌膿瘍患者。在膿瘍經由電腦斷層導引下抽吸引流術，病人在接受苯唑西林(oxacillin)與妥布黴素(tobramycin)的治療後完全康復。

Psoas abscess is a relatively uncommon condition that can present with vague symptoms. Its insidious onset and occult nature can cause diagnostic delays, resulting in substantial mortality and morbidity. We describe a patient with a primary, methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus psoas abscess. The abscess was drained by computerized tomography-guided aspiration and the patient was treated with oxacillin and tobramycin and made a full recovery.
