Torsion of a Wandering Spleen-An Uncommon and Easily Overlooked Abdominal Emergency in Children

游離脾臟扭轉在兒科病人中是一個罕見的疾病，又因其臨床表現的多樣性，在兒科急診很容易被延遲診斷而導致嚴重的併發症。我們報告一個八歲女童以非特異性腹痛來急診就醫後，經由詳細的理學檢查，腹部超音波及電腦斷層檢查，迅速確立診斷並成功完成外科手術治療，希望藉此提醒急診醫師對這種罕見且易被忽略的兒科腹部急症的認知。

Torsion of a wandering spleen is a rare clinical entity in the pediatric population with varying presentations that is often misdiagnosed in the emergency department. We describe a case of torsion of wandering spleen in an 8-year-old child with presentation of non-specific abdominal complaints who received rapid diagnosis and surgical splenopexy to highlight the awareness of this uncommon and easily overlooked abdominal emergency in pediatric patients.
