Torsion of a wandering spleen is a rare clinical entity in the pediatric population with varying presentations that is often misdiagnosed in the emergency department. We describe a case of torsion of wandering spleen in an 8-year-old child with presentation of non-specific abdominal complaints who received rapid diagnosis and surgical splenopexy to highlight the awareness of this uncommon and easily overlooked abdominal emergency in pediatric patients.
