摘要

在俄羅斯宗教文化中有一類奇特的現象，謂之爲聖愚，或「爲了基督的愚癡」。這類人的行爲特殊怪異、衣不蔽體、四處流浪、居無定所，卻又是極爲虔誠的基特教徒，有預知、預言的能力，人們對他們敬畏有加。有些聖愚被教會冊封爲聖者，然而泰半則因其異於常人的行徑而被視爲是瘋子。本論文將試就聖愚的源起、形象外貌、行爲方式及其歷史評償做近一步的探討與研究。

There is an unique style of people in Russian Eastern Orthodoxy-the Holy fool. The average per son believed that they have the mystical strength, they could make the predict ion to the future, also make the critique to the society; they arc in rags, pray for people as well as curse others. Their spiritual strength is respectable and makes one dread. Some of them were canonized as a saint, but most of the time they were treated as madmen or lunatics. This project will focus on this character and try to make a deep research to find out whether the Holy fool were saints or madmen.
