物理治療專業倫理準則之分析與評論

在各個不同專業中，為了確保專業人員之自主性與能力，要求專業人員需遵守專業倫理原則，也就是從事某一專業工作的人，在執行與專業相關事務時，所應遵守的行為準則，以避免專業知識之濫用而導致對社會大眾之傷害。物理治療專業亦重視此一議題，制訂了中華民國物理治療師專業行為準則，並符合尊重自主原則、不傷害原則、行善原則與公平正義之倫理原則。但若以其他國外之文獻報告與專業發展經驗，還有醫療上其他專業或相關之問題來檢視我國所制定之專業準則，可幫助我們瞭解現行之專業行為準則是否仍有闕如之處。所以本文除了回顧物理治療倫理之發展，也將評論並檢視我國目前之物理治療之專業行為準則是否仍有未明確規範之處，以作為相關團體制訂倫理守則時之參考，並探討發展我國物理治療倫理之未來方向。

The code of conduct indicates the standards and duties which is expected for a professional to follow. This can be used as a point of reference when dealing with disciplinary procedures for professional members. The ethical codes promote a profession to make a decision ethically, reduce immoral behavior and protect the public. The code of ethics for physical therapy was formulated by The Physical Therapy Association of the Republic of China, and established to conform to the principles of respect for autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice. The practicality and integrity of the code of conducts for physical therapy in our country should be viewed. Therefore, this paper describes the evolution of professional ethic for physical therapy in Taiwan. We also review and appraise the current code of conduct for physical therapy that is needed. And we make some suggestions for revising the code of conduct in the future.
