背景與目的:Wii虛擬實境(virtual reality)遊戲近年來開始運用於失智症患者的治療,本文主要目的在探討Wii虛擬實境遊戲訓練在失智症患者認知、平衡及步態訓練之療效為何。方法:關鍵字以dementia、mild cognitive impairment、cognitive impairment、MCI合併Wii、Nintendo Wii、Wii-fit,搜尋了CINANL、Cochrane Library、Medline、PEDro、PsycInfo及PubMed電子資料庫,搜尋年代自1966年7月至2015年4月。結果:篩選出4篇文章。結果顯示使用Wii Sport或Wii-Fit訓練可以使認知障礙患者感覺愉快,有助於認知與注意力的提升,並改善平衡功能降低跌倒風險。結論:Wii虛擬實境遊戲是安全且可用於失智症患者的訓練方式,而Wii虛擬實境遊戲對於認知與動作功能的量化研究值得進一步探討。
Background and purpose: Currently, Wii game has been used to treat patients with dementia. The purpose of this review was to explore the benefit of Wii game training for improving cognitive function, balance and gait performance in patients with dementia. Methods: The key words included dementia, mild cognitive impairment, or cognitive impairment and combined Wii, Nintendo Wii, or Wii-fit. CINANL, Cochrane Library, Medline, PEDro, PsycInfo, and PubMed Database from July 1966 to Apr 2015 were searched. Results: Four studies were included. Patients with cognitive impairment enjoyed Wii game, including Wii Sport and Wii-Fit. Wii game resulted in significant improvements in cognitive and balance functions, decrease in risks of falls. Conclusion: Wii game is safe and feasible for patients with dementia. Quantitative analysis of the effect of Wii game on cognitive and motor function will need further investigation.
