青少年網球選手Raducanu與Fernandez在2021年美國公開賽的表現分析
Performance Analysis of Junior Tennis Players Raducanu and Fernandez at the 2021 US Open
Abstracts
青少年網球選手轉型為職業網球選手過程所需面臨的改變，一直是職業網球團隊所重視的問題，而運動表現分析是教練與選手在執行與修正比賽策略的重要依據。2021年美國網球公開賽上演由18歲英國Emma Raducanu與19歲加拿大Leylah Fernandez在決賽中對戰，本研究目的以比賽表現數據分析這兩名青少年選手在發球、回發球與對峙等三個方面之關鍵獲勝指標的差異，以提供青少年選手在未來訓練上的分析與參考依據。歸納由美網與IBM SlamTracker所公布之比賽資料，包括Raducanu與Fernandez在決賽前與其各自對戰對手的各6場比賽，以及兩人的決賽一場，共13場比賽進行分析。分析結果指出決賽前與各自對手的對戰表現中，發球致勝分方面，Raducanu 62.26%優於Fernandez 36.56%，總發球贏分方面，Raducanu 56.07%優於50.18%，對峙致勝分方面，Raducanu 60.00%優於Fernandez 48.79%，而Fernandez只有在回發球致勝分及回發球非受迫性失誤占到優勢，而在決賽中，除了回發球非受迫性失誤外，Raducanu在所有表現指標都優於Fernandez。本研究結論認為兩位青少年選手整個系列賽獲勝的趨勢為Raducanu在比賽第一階段的發球優勢掌握較佳，發球優勢的發球致勝分都遠高於對手，而Fernandez則以提升回發球的優勢，增加在底線對峙的比分為獲勝關鍵。
Parallel abstracts
The transition from junior to professional for young tennis players is a critical issue for professional teams, and data from performance analysis of tennis matches provides an important basis for players or coaches seeking to implement and modify their strategies for success. The 2021 US Open women's singles final match featured 18-year-old British player Emma Raducanu and 19-year-old Canadian Leylah Fernandez. Raducanu defeated Fernandez to win the title that year. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyse key performance variables within three categories (serve, return and rally) as executed by these two junior players on the road to the final. Data on thirteen matches of the 2021 US Open, released by the US Open and IBM SlamTracker, was collected and analysed. The number of matches included 6 matches for each final player before the final plus the final match itself. Results indicated that: Relative to their opponents before the final, Raducanu won a significantly higher percentage of points on service winners (62.26%) than Fernandez (36.56%), a higher percentage of total points won (56.07%) than Fernandez (50.18%), and a higher percentage of rally winners (60.00%) than Fernandez (48.79%). Only in return winners and return unforced errors did Fernandez have an advantage in terms of percentage of points. In conclusion: The trend of the two junior players who won through to the final was that Raducanu had the superior service advantage in the first phase of the game (higher than that of her opponents), while Fernandez improved her return advantage and increased the points from the baseline rally as the keys to win her matches.
