數種藥用植物甲醇及熱水萃取物的抗氧化性

Antioxidant Properties of Methanolic and Hot Water Extracts from Some Medicinal Plants

本研究分析比較仙草、魚腥草、印度茄、茵陳蒿、南五味子、燈稱花、節毛鼠尾草等七種藥用植物的甲醇及熱水萃取物的抗氧化性、總酚類及總類黃酮含量,甲醇萃取之產率、總酚類及總類黃酮含量都高於熱水萃取,七種植物之中茵陳蒿的總酚類及總類黃酮含量均為最高者,南五味子其次。測定不同濃度下的活性,得知甲醇萃取物對清除DPPH自由基、還原力、抑制亞麻油酸過氧化等抗氧化性的IC50值依序爲5.2-54.8、7.3-57.0及8.9-194.2μg/mL,熱水萃取物之IC50值則為5.3-57.0、21.0-134.4及27.6-245.4μg/mL,七種值物原料等量混合製成熱水萃取物的IC50值分別是12.9、54.8及65.7μg/mL;IC50值最低的南五味子甲醇萃取物僅5.2-8.9μg/mL。還原力與抑制亞麻油酸過氧化作用主要來自醇溶性成分的貢獻,清除自由基之活性依原料而定分別以水溶性或醇溶性成分為主要的來源。

Seven medicinal plants including Mesona procumbent, Houttuynia cordata, Solanum violaceum, Artemisia capillaries, Kadsura japonica, llex asprella, and Salvia plebeian were prepared for methanolic (MeOH) and hot water (HW) extracts. The antioxidative activity, total phenolic (TP) and total flavonoid (TF) contents were analyzed. In comparison, MeOH extracts had higher solid, TP, and TF contents than that of HW extracts. TP and TF contents from A. capillaries were the highest, followed by K. japonica. According to the measurements at various concentrations, the IC5 of MeOH and HW extracts were 5.2~54.8 and 5.3~57.0μg/mL for scavenging α, α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical, 7.3~57.9 and 21.0-134.4μg/mL for reducing power, and 8.9~194.2 and 27.6~245.4μg/mL for inhibiting linoleic acid peroxidation, respectively. Values of the herbal tea made by mixing 7 plant materials in order were 12.9, 54.8 and 65.7μg/mL, respectively. Of which, IC50 (5.2~8.9μg/mL) from K. japonica extracts were the lowest. Activities of reducing power and inhibiting linoleic acid peroxidation were mainly from the contribution of MeOH-soluble constituents. The main DPPH radical scavenging activity, however, was donated by MeOH-or HW-soluble components, depending on the kind of plants.
