烏龍茶抗氧化及抑制脂質蓄積能力評估

Antioxidant Ability of Various Oolong Tea Extract and Their Potential as the Lipopexia Inhibitor

本研究以四種市售烏龍茶(阿里山高山烏龍茶、梨山烏龍茶、杉林溪烏龍春茶及玉山烏龍茶)之熱水萃取物比較不同萃取時間之抗氧化活性,以探討最適萃取條件及評估烏龍茶熱水萃取物抑制前脂肪細胞(3T3-L1細胞)脂質蓄積的能力。結果顯示,阿里山高山烏龍茶熱水萃取3 min與其他樣品之DPPH自由基清除能力(35.67%)及清除超氧陰離子能力測定(45.80%)最具顯著差異,且經凍乾後,其樣品之咖啡因及兒茶素含量分別為86.16及111.85 mg/g extract。在抑制前脂肪細胞脂質蓄積方面,以0.05及0.1 mg/mL之樣品對3T3-L1細胞的脂質蓄積分別抑制23%及65%。綜上所述,阿里山高山烏龍茶具有抗氧化及抑制3T3-L1細胞脂質蓄積之能力,具有開發為抑制脂質蓄積機能性產品之潛力。

The purpose of this study was to compared the effect of water extraction time toward the antioxidative activity and inhibited lipid accumulation in four different commercially available oolong teas that included Alishan High-Mountain (Mt. Ali.), LiShan, Shanlinxi and YuShan. The results showed that there were significant DPPH free radical (35.67%) and SOD scavenging effects (45.80%) in Mt. Ali. Oolong Tea with 3 min of hot water extraction time compared to other tea extracts. This extract was found with 86.16 and 111.85 mg/g extract of caffeine and EGCG respectively after being lyophilized into powder. The inhibition effect of Mt. Ali. Oolong Tea extract in fat accumulation was significant as the powdered formed extracts when prepared in 0.05 and 0.1 mg/mL, had 23% and 65% of lipopexia inhibition activity in 3T3-L1 cells. In conclusion, Mt. Ali. Oolong Tea has antioxidative effects and could prevent 3T3-L1 cells from lipopexia, which has its potential usage as a product with lipopexia inhibition property.
