中文色塊測驗應用於成人之信效度研究

The Reliability and Validity of Mandarin Token Test as Applied to Adults

摘要


本研究旨在探討中文色塊測驗12歲組試題應用於成人之信度與效度。研究對象有715位成人,包含失智症者、學習障礙和自閉症大學生各30人;以古典測驗理論和試題反應理論進行分析,主要研究結果有下述九項:一、全測驗之內部一致性和重測信度相當不錯;二、絕大部分試題之Rasch模式適合度良好;三、測驗訊息曲線顯示本測驗適合用來測量聽覺理解輕度至中度缺損者;四、中文色塊測驗可偵測成人聽覺理解老化現象,50歲以上成人得分平均數隨年齡增加而遞減;五、大學以上教育程度者得分平均數顯著高於高中職以下者;六、學習障礙大學生之得分平均數顯著低於同年齡常模樣本;七、自閉症大學生之複雜句得分平均數顯著低於同齡常模樣本;八、失智症者得分平均數顯著低於年齡和學歷配對之一般人,以12.5分為切截點區分失智症者和一般人,有良好的敏感性和特殊性,可做為失智症診斷工具之一;九、中文色塊測驗得分與魏氏成人智力量表第三版語文智商的相關顯著高於其與作業智商之相關。因此,中文色塊測驗在心理計量上是評估說華語成人聽覺理解能力的良好工具。

This study was aimed to investigate the reliability and validity of the Mandarin Token Test (MTT, the Age 12 Version) as applied to adults (N = 715), which included groups with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, and controls (N = 30 for each disability group, N = 625 for controls). The research methods were based on the Classical Testing Theory and the Item Response Theory. First, internal consistency and re-test reliability were both good. Next, most items demonstrated good Rasch model fit. The information curve indicated the test was most suitable for assessing persons with mild and moderate disabilities. An incremental decrease of performance on MTT was observed with persons older than age 50. On average, persons with college education or higher had scores higher than persons with high school education or lower. College students with learning disabilities had on average scores lower than those obtained from the peer norm group. On complex-sentence items, college students with autism had scores lower than those obtained from the peer norm group. Persons with dementia had scores lower than the age- and education-matched control groups. A cutoff score of 12.5 could successfully differentiate persons with dementia from the normal controls, indicating that MTT had good sensitivity and specificity and that the test can potentially serve as a diagnostic tool for dementia. Finally, a higher correlation coefficient between MTT and Verbal IQ (VIQ) Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale Third Edition (WAIS-III) was found than that between MTT and Performance IQ (PIQ) WAIS-III. Thus, MTT was psychometrically demonstrated to be a good test for assessing auditory comprehension in Chinese-speaking adults.
