摘要

案主自決是社會工作的首要倫理責任亦是專業價值的彰顯，因為社會工作相信人有獲得資源以解決問題發展潛能的權利，此價值偏好相信人應該如何被看待，而不因某些特質或社會因素被限制個人自主的機會。精神障礙患者的人權自古以來受到汙名的負面影響，遭受嚴重的剝削與傷害，很多患者都有生活自立的能力，往往因為社會上的誤解和排斥而失去工作、家庭和友誼。他們擁有康復的希望與自立的機會，卻往往得不到支持與鼓勵，而退縮到封閉的角落。社工人員在面對精神障礙案主時因受自身與專業角色、社會價值的影響而陷入兩難的情境。為弱勢者倡議社會正義是社會工作的使命，本文以精神障礙者為例，反省思考社會工作的專業角色，在面對與接納案主自決實踐專業價值歷程的挑戰。

The case of self decision-making is the ethical responsibility of social work is also a manifestation of the professional value, social work believe people have the right to develop their potential to solve the problem of access to resources, this value preferences believe how people should be treated as unique individual. The human rights of people with mental disability suffered severe exploitation and stigma for ages, which have the ability to self-reliance. They have been misunderstanding and social exclusion and loss opportunities of work, family and friendship. Social workers treatment of mental disability due to their own and professional, social value into the context of the dilemma. Initiatives social justice is social work mission. This article would reflect of social work professional role and challenges of the practice of professional value.
