家長對兒童使用3C產品看法與態度之研究

本論文研究對象係以「立意取樣」徵求13位家裡有12歲以下兒童之家長，透過「深度訪談」，探討「家長對兒童使用3C產品之看法與態度」。研究結果發現：1. 家長「知道」法令規定應禁止兒童超過合理時間持續使用3C產品。2. 家長「相信」兒童超過合理時間持續使用3C產品有害身心健康。3. 家長「承認」「從沒有」禁止兒童超過合理時間持續使用3C產品。4. 家長「承認」自己也是「只要有時間」就會持續使用3C產品。5. 家長「不相信」沒有禁止兒童超過合理時間持續使用3C產品「會被罰錢」。6. 家長「不知道」要如何禁止兒童超過合理時間持續使用3C產品。7. 家長「不知道」什麼是使用3C產品的「合理時間」。

This study is meant to gather in-depth information about parents’ perspectives and attitudes of children’s digital-media use. Thirteen parents, who have children under 12, have been interviewed. Results show that (1) the parents know that the law prohibits children under 18 using electronic devices for extended periods of times; (2) the parents believe that using digital-media products for an unreasonable amount of time can cause physical or mental illness for children; (3) the parents admit they never stop their children from using digital-media products for an unreasonable amount of time; (4) the parents admit that they use devices as long as they have free time; (5) the parents do not believe that they can be fined if their children use devices exceed a reasonable time; (6) the parents do not know how to stop their children from using devices over a reasonable time; (7) the parents do not know how long is a reasonable time to use digital-media products.
