台灣西部海岸林適生植物內生菌根菌調查研究

Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (VAMF) in Soils Associated with the Dominant Plants in Western Coast of Taiwan

摘要


海岸林之生育地常因貧瘠、乾旱與高鹽分等多項逆境之影響,以致造林不易成功。內生菌根菌與植物共生後能幫助植物吸收礦物營養與水分,並增強其耐旱性、耐鹽性及抗病力等。本研究針對台灣西部沿海適生植物進行菌根菌現況調查,以了解各地區植物之內生菌根菌組成,以期將來提供海岸造林工作的參考資料,以提高造林之成效。本研究於2008年至2009年間赴台灣西部海岸進行台灣海岸林適生植物內生菌根菌調查,共取樣點38處,每處樣點取臨近區域適生植物根系土壤3份,共計114份樣本,以了解海岸林菌根菌的組成。共記錄8屬20種內生菌根菌。整體而言西部海岸林較具優勢的共生菌種為Acaulospora scrobiculata、Scutellspora calospora、Cetraspora pellucida 及Glomus etunicatum等。優勢菌種經純化繁殖後,接種於黃槿(Hibiscus tiliaceus)及白水木(Messerschmidia argentea)無菌苗,10個月後苗木形質生長與未接種菌根菌之苗木呈現明顯差異。

The habitat of coastal forest is always so barren, arid and salty that difficult to afforest. The vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (VAMF) help plants to absorb nutrition and moisture, and raise the tolerance of plant in drought, salty and disease. This study investigated the VAMF composition of coastal plants in western Taiwan, in order to realize the difference in respective area and provide the information which would be useful in coastal afforesting.In this study, 38 sampling locations and each location 3 soil-samples were taken from the plant rhizome nearby (totally 114 samples) during 2008-2009. Total 20 species in 8 genus of VAMF were found in the western coast of Taiwan, the predominant species are Acaulospora scrobiculata, Scutellspora calospora, Cetraspora pellucida and Glomus etunicatum. The dominant VAMF were pure-cultured and then inoculated in Hibiscus tiliaceus and Messerschmidia argentea seedlings respectively, the growth of seedlings were significantly different in different processing 10 months later.
