No living creature is separate from its own body, soul and spirit, or from the world. This connection is constant and continuous, but few living beings understand the correlation between themselves and their bodies, souls and spirits. This cognitive disconnection is the main reason for the rise of numerous religions and spiritual organizations around the world. Because many people have fallen prey to unethical religious or spiritual practices, it is necessary to clarify the structure of and systematic domination of the body, soul and spirit on the one hand, and the world on the other. By examining the general knowledge of the body, soul and spirit, as well as modern psychology, theology, science and Buddhism, this paper attempts to understand questions such as what the soul or spirit truly is, how the world was generated, what the dominating mechanism is, whether animals, plants or minerals have souls, the causes of samsāra (reincarnation), and the distinction between life and death. Discovering the truths of these fundamental issues about the world can help reduce the barriers to spiritual growth. The paper concludes that the cognitive differences about the body, soul and spirit and the world are actually a means to the same end-the one spirituality.
