Applying Ontology and Information Extraction Techniques to Develop a Nuclear Medicine Examination Report Auditing System in the Department of Nuclear Medicine

摘要


目的:核醫科與心導管醫師開立相同檢查而有不同的結果報告產生,因此,本研究期望在高雄長庚紀念醫院發展一套以資訊萃取與知識本體為核心技術的核醫檢查報告稽核資訊系統。方法:以核醫心臟造影檢查報告與心導管檢查報告為主之核醫檢查報告稽核資訊系統架構,共分為檢查報告萃取代理人、檢查報告稽核代理人、檢查報告警示系統與檢查報告查詢系統。透過資訊系統的運作,產生資訊回饋自動警示核醫科醫師。結果:不僅減少報告審核上的時間,同時病人可盡早獲得所需要的治療進而縮短住院天數及減少醫療資源浪費。結論:未來規劃預計逐步將每項造影檢查,納入核醫檢查報告稽核資訊系統,以利醫師能藉由此稽核資訊系統快速判斷報告的正確性,提升核子醫學科的報告正確率。

Objectives: Such as one of nuclear medicines and the other of cardiovascular catheterization, may make different reports over one examination result. In this study we established a nuclear medicine examination report audit information system constructed by ontology-based information extraction in the Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Methods: This study used cardiac and cardiovascular catheterization examination reports from the Department of Nuclear Medicine of Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital as data sources. The nuclear medicine examination report audit information system consisted of an Examination Report Extraction Agent (EREA), Examination Report Check Agent (ERCA), Examination Report Alert System (ERAS), and Examination Report Search System (ERSS). With the implementation of the information system, information feedback automatically generated alerts for nuclear medicine physicians. Results: The nuclear medicine examination report reduced the time for the audit report. At the same time, patients received early treatment, and thus required shorter hospital stays and medical resource waste was reduced. Conclusions: Each type of nuclear medicine examination should be included in the nuclear medicine examination report audit information system as a means to assist physicians in quickly determining the accuracy of reports and to increase the ratio of correct report reading.
