中文版「主觀職涯成功量表」之發展與信效度檢驗

The Development of a Mandarin Chinese Inventory for Subjective Career Success and Further Assessment of its Reliability and Validity

摘要


當今的職業環境具有流動及不可預測之特性,強調工作意義、個人與工作契合度、個人責任感及自我導向性,以致主觀職涯成功(subjective career success [SCS])對人力資源管理與發展的重要性與日俱增,然而目前仍缺乏一套完善且經過驗證之中文版SCS評量工具。Shockley等人於2016年發展的「主觀職涯成功量表」(Subjective Career Success Inventory [SCSI])含八構面24題,其信效度表現良好且廣泛應用於相關研究,惟該量表是否適用於中文環境仍有待驗證。有鑑於此,本研究發展出中文版SCSI針對我國公務人員進行問卷調查,透過預試、正式施測及統計分析之研究程序,發現正式施測1,165人之結果,中文版SCSI的各構面Cronbach's α值介於.82~.93之間,整體值高達.96,顯示量表具良好之內部一致性。同時,各個別觀察變項之信度均高於可接受標準,潛在變項組成信度亦全數高於.60之門檻,表示中文版SCSI的信度表現良好,量表具有相當之可靠性。驗證性因素分析結果則顯示,量表整體模式達可接受之水準。同時,本研究進一步就內在結構配適度進行驗證,發現量表除個別及潛在變項均具備效度之外,量表亦具備足夠之鑑別效度。由此可見,中文版SCSI的效度表現良好、量表具備一定之有效性,並可優先用於公務人員施測。

The importance of subjective career success (SCS) to human resource management and development has been increased. However, there is still a lack of a well-developed and validated Mandarin Chinese version of the SCS instrument. The Subjective Career Success Inventory (SCSI), including 8 dimensions and 24 items, developed by Shockley and others has high reliability and validity and has been widely used in related research studies, but whether the inventory is applicable to the Mandarin Chinese contexts remains to be verified. Thus, this study developed a Mandarin Chinese version of SCSI to conduct a questionnaire survey on Taiwan's civil servants. As result of the formal test from 1,165 civil servants, it was found that the Cronbach's α in 8 dimensions of the Mandarin Chinese version of SCSI is between .82-.93 and the overall alpha value is as high as .96. It indicates that the inventory has good internal consistency. At the same time, not only the reliability of each individual observed variable are is higher than the acceptable standard, but also all potential variable components are higher than the threshold of .60, indicating that the reliability of the Mandarin Chinese version of SCSI is good and the inventory has considerable reliability. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the overall model of the inventory reached an acceptable level. At the same time, this study further verified the fit of the internal structure, and found that the inventory has sufficient discriminant validity in addition to individual and potential variables. It can be concluded that the validity of the Mandarin Chinese version of SCSI is good, and the inventory has certain validity and can be given priority to be used for civil servants.
