藝術教育之相關研究較少整合生涯理論而聚焦於視覺藝術精進專業的相關研究,因此本研究嘗試以生涯特質覺知、生涯抉擇與生涯自我效能之探究為研究問題,探討視覺藝術精進專業者之生涯發展歷程的相關因素。本研究以Holland之生涯興趣六角模型推論出視覺藝術精進專業之職業特色,邀請視覺藝術創作、設計、藝術史、藝術評論、藝術行政、藝術教育、藝術修復、藝術治療等八名研究參與者進行深度訪談,以質性研究取向的主題分析法理解其生涯發展之因素。研究結果發現,視覺藝術精進專業者生涯發展之因素包括父母、手足與家庭氣氛影響的家庭因素,天賦、多元興趣與個人特質影響的個人因素,以及人生機緣等三個主要因素。最後提出視覺藝術精進專業者之生涯特質、生涯抉擇與生涯自我效能相互影響的結論,並說明研究省思與未來研究之建議。
Vocational theories have been well developed; however, there is little research about the career development of advanced visual art professionals. Therefore, this research explores factors of the awareness of vocational traits, career decision-making, and career self-efficacy in the career development of advanced visual art professionals. Drawing inferences from Holland's hexagon model, eight advanced visual art professionals were invited, including a visual artist, visual art designer, art historian, art reviewer, art administrator, art educator, art restorer, and art therapist. Qualitative research approach and subjective analysis are applied in this research. The results find three main factors which may influence career decision making, career self-efficacy, and perception of vocational types. They are the aesthetic atmosphere and support from parents and siblings, personal traits including innate ability, interest, creativity, enthusiasm, perseverance, and leadership, and above all, inspiration from an important person, successful experiences, and taking advantage of opportunities. The research findings and suggestions are also provided.
