A Study of Student Satisfaction of Weekend Program Students in Taipei, Taiwan

台北地區進修專校假日班學生滿意度之研究

摘要


「全民終身學習的社會」是政府進行教育改革的主要目標,也是提高國民生產力不可或缺的途徑。技職體系在終身學習及回流教育中扮演了重要的角色,假日進修院校的成立提供了社會大眾更彈性更自主的學習機會。本文針對1,000位大台北地區的進修專校假日班學生實施就學滿意度調查,並就學生的人口統計變項進行滿意度差異性比較,期能提出相關討論與建議,使教育單位或主管機關能針對缺失加以改進。除此之外,此類分析研究若應用在招生與辦學的行銷策略上,將使教育單位在教育市場上更顯競爭力。

According to 12 reform mandates of The Seventh National Educational Conference, an important concept is to promote lifelong education and build a learning-oriented society. Technological and Vocational Education (TVE) plays a significant role in providing people more lifelong learning opportunities. The weekend program of TVE is a new, flexible and open education system in Taiwan. A valid and reliable ”Student Satisfaction Scale” (S.S.S.) was developed to survey 1,000 weekend program students and examine if significant relationships exist between student satisfaction and the background characteristics of students. The results indicate that the significant differences exist in student satisfaction regarding age, marital status and lag time; however, no relationship exists between student satisfaction and gender/personal income.
