近年來教學領域微觀與鉅觀研究取向的分離、量化和質性研究方法的對立,以及社會與學校因素著重不同的問題,促使教育學者尋求解決的辦法,而傳記研究方法剛好能夠滿足這樣的要求,因此受到教育學者的注意,許多人開始探究傳記研究方法在這個領域應用的可能性,並且進一步建構傳記研究方法,使其更適合於教育問題的研究,同時推廣到其他教育科學相關領域的研究上。同時,也有一些教育學者企圖應用傳記研究方法,來關聯教育理論的探究和教育實際的經驗。所以,傳記研究方法逐漸受到重視。本文旨在探討傳記研究方法的起源演變、理論基礎、實施步驟、應用實例,並且評價其優劣得失,以提供教學社會學學者作爲進行研究的參考。
The Problems of antagonism between micro and macro research approaches, between quantitative and qualitative research methods, between social and school factors in sociology of teaching latest years that they impel educators to find out the solution. Because the biographical research just can satisfy such requirements, therefore, it arrests attention from educators. Many scholars begin to study the applied possibility of such method in their field and farther to construct it. In order to make it more suitable for research into educational problems, and let it can extend to another interrelated fields of educational science. At the same time, there are some educators try to apply this method that connect the investigations of educational theories and experiences of educational practice. Consequently, the biographical research attracts attention from educators gradually. The purposes of this article are to inquiry into the beginning and development, theoretical foundations, applied steps, applied examples and evaluation of biographical research method, and then as references for educators to research on sociology of teaching.
