護生初次臨床實習對針扎(針刺傷)預防知識、態度、行為之相關研究

A Correlation Study of Needle Stick Prevention Knowledge, Attitudes, Behavior among Student Nurses in First Clinical Pratice

摘要


目的:探討護生對針扎(針刺傷)預防知識、態度及行為之現況。方法:採描述性研究,方便取樣,以台灣某醫專419位護生為研究母體群,用「護生初次臨床實習對針扎預防知識、態度、行為之量表」為研究工具。結果:知識平均值11.0,態度平均值3.8,行為平均值4.18,均偏正向。知識與態度及態度與行為呈顯著相關(r=.31,p<.01);(r=.24,p<.01)。結論:護生對針扎之相關知識為中上程度,對針扎預防顯重視,在針扎預防執行上亦較能配合。因知識、態度及行為三者有顯著相關,期能藉由課室及臨床雙方課程規劃來增加護生對針扎預防知識,進而改變態度與落實行為。

Purpose: The study was investigate the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior influence related to needle stick prevention among ”first-time clinical practice of nursing students. It was a descriptive study with 419 nursing students as convenience sampling of a medical college in Taiwan. A needle stick prevention knowledge, attitudes, behavior scale was used. Results: The average scores of knowledge 11.0, attitude 3.8 and behaviors 4.8 showed all were positive. Knowledge with attitude and the attitude with behavior were significantly correlated (r=.31, P<.01); (r=.24, P<.01). Conclusion: The related knowledge of needle stick of student nurses was above average, which demonstrated attention to needle stick prevention and adaptation to its implementation. Since knowledge, attitude and behavior were significantly related, it is hoped that the combination of classroom and clinical teaching can enhance the needle stick knowledge to student nurses, then change their attitudes and affect their behaviors.
