本文運用文獻回顧,綜合文獻資料,探討如何訓練太極於社區老人平衡感、下肢肌力以及關節活動度之影響,進而達到降低社區老人跌倒機率之成效。在進行資料庫搜尋後,獲得9篇符合臨床試驗研究文獻,包括3個隨機的臨床試驗、4個控制型臨床試驗以及2個未加控制型臨床試驗研究。結果發現:(1)對於太極訓練之執行時間,由每次40~60分鐘,每週2~3次,訓練8~12週,便可見其效果。(2)透過太極訓練後,在增進社區老人平衡感、下肢肌力、關節活動柔軟及靈活度有顯著改善。太極對於社區老人在多面向平衡能力確實有實質的助益,建議未來可做為社區或機稱推展健康促進之參考,以提供老年族群一項優質的保健強身運動。
The integrative review method was used to explore the effects of Tai Chi on the impact of balance, lower extremity muscle strength, and the range of motion in order to examine the effect of fall prevention for community-dwelling elderly. This review method by searching databases has found nine clinical trials, including three randomized clinical trials, four controlled clinical trials and two uncontrolled clinical trial. The results showed that: (1) the training program for Tai Chi is at l east 40 to 60 minutes a time, and 2 to 3 times a week for 8 to 12 weeks; (2) there is significant improvement on balance, lower extremity muscle strength, and joint mobility and flexibility for elderly through Tai Chi training program. It is suggested for the future that this exercise can be used as a quality physical movement to promote health in community health care organizations for elderly.
