台灣感染管制師在醫院處理新型冠狀病毒肺炎之經驗

摘要


2003年的SARS讓台灣經歷一場前所未有的浩劫,其中的衝擊與傷痛,讓在醫療機構服務的我們用生命去學習許多寶貴的防疫經驗。反觀17年後的今天,COVID-19的來襲,經過多年來的醫院感染管制查核及醫院重視感染管制措施的努力,在面對此波疫情,我們已有所準備,筆者以身為一位醫院感染管制護理師的角色,淺談這些日子以來的所見所聞所做,期望能將此經驗分享給更多仍在第一線服務的醫療人員,更進一步了解醫院感染管制的重要性。

Taiwan experienced an unprecedented catastrophe during the SARS outbreak in 2003. That shock and sorrow experience enabled health professionals to learn many precious infectious preventions at the cost of some of their colleagues' lives. Evaluation mechanism on hospital infection inspections has been established, and efforts to evaluate the infection control have been strengthen in the past 17 years. Hospitals and their staff are now ready to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak. The authors of the article, as Infection Control Practitioners in a hospital, would share their experiences of involvement in the COVID-19 control. It is hoped that such sharing could inspire more frontline medical personnel to be aware of the necessity and the importance of hospital infection control.
