Improve the Efficiency of BB84 Quantum Key Distribution Protocol with Single Quantum Storage Device

摘要


量子密鑰分配協定(Quantum key distribution protocols(QKDP))需要盡量讓傳輸雙方的分享金鑰位元盡量增加,使得量子密鑰分配協定的相關應用才能實際化,有其可行性。本篇論文提出了一個使用單一量子儲存設備改良BB84效率之量子金鑰分配協定。提出的量子密鑰分配協定只需要配備單一量子儲存設備與修改位元正確性的討論機制,就可以讓傳輸雙方的分享金鑰位元增加。此外,提出的QKDP可以檢測出三種攻擊,即:竊聽攻擊、惡意文件修改攻擊、環境干擾誤差。比對於之前的量子密鑰分配協定,傳輸雙方需要消耗許多珍貴的量子位元,卻只能夠檢測出竊聽攻擊是否存在。

Participants of Quantum key distribution protocols (QKDP) need to increase the length of shared secret key for later encryption applications. This paper presents an improved quantum key distribution protocol with single quantum storage device, which only requires single quantum storage device and modifications of the public discussions between participants. In addition, the proposed QKDP can detect three kinds of attacks: eavesdropping attack, the malicious modification attack, and the environmental interference error. Previous quantum key distribution protocols can have a relatively high probability to detect the existence of eavesdropping attack only.
