摘要

本文從聖十字若望詩作出發，扣緊其對「轉化結合」所透顯的「美」，以分析其中所涵括的「型器之美」、「感知之美」、和「存有學之美」，再藉亞里士多德《詩學》的提示、而落實聖人所蘊含的「詩心」，並體會其意象所吐露的天人之愛、來追溯從「愛的情傷」到「美的昇華」之心路歷程。

In their account of divinized union, the poems of St. John of the Cross pinpoint the essence of Beauty as having three basic aspects which may conveniently be called Ontic Beauty, Cognitive Beauty, and Ontological Beauty. St John's poetic spirit is especially underlined by a process involving the sorrow of Love with the sublimation of Beauty.
