台灣光電產業之轉捩點

摘要

2021年台灣光電產值達到$1兆7,552億台幣（包括化合物半導體），較2020年$1兆4,989億台幣成長17.1%，如圖1所示。2021年台灣$1兆7,552億台幣的產值相當於$609.5億美元，較2020年的$488.7億美元產值大幅成長24.7%。上述美元版本的成長率24.7%高於台幣版本的成長率17.1%，其兩者的差異來自台幣升值的貢獻。此外根據美國光學學會（OPTICA）的估算，2021年全球光電產業規模約達到了$6,319億美元，所以台灣光電產業在全球產業中約有9.6%的佔有率。

In 2021, Taiwan's photonics industry production value reached NT$1,755.2 billion (including compound semiconductors), an increase of 17.1% from NT$1,498.9 billion in 2020, as shown in Fig.1. The production value of NT$1,755.2 billion is equivalent to US$60.95 billion, a significant increase of 24.7% from the value of US$48.87 billion in 2020. The growth rate of the above-mentioned US dollar version is 24.7% and is higher than that of the Taiwan dollar version, which is 17.1%, and the difference between the two comes from the contribution of the appreciation of the New Taiwan dollar. In addition, according to the estimation of the Optical Society of America (OPTICA), the global photonics industry reached approximately US$631.9 billion in 2021, so Taiwan photonics industry accounts for about 9.6% of the global industry.
