摘要


基於傳統醫學教育的缺失,越來越多的醫學院校開始利用問題為基礎學習法於醫學教育課程之中。快速變遷的醫療環境裡,問題為基礎學習法訓練過程使得學生能夠具備面對挑戰的能力,而學生對於資訊管理技能的需求將更為殷切。作為資訊資源提供者的圖書館,在處理各種形式的醫學資訊資源,尤其是網路上增長快速的電子資源時,所應扮演的角色將更具挑戰性,本文將以文獻分析法針對問題為基礎學習法的目標,電腦資料庫與網路醫學資訊資源的應用與圖書館的角色等問題作探討,期望對於醫學院校與醫學資訊專業有所助益。

A growing number of medical schools are adopting problem-based learning in response to criticisms of the conventional medical curriculum. In the changing healthcare environment, medical students are required to be equiped with basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes for the coming decade. This article focuses on the importance of information resources in the PBL (Problem-based learning) environment. The issues discussed here include the objectives of problem-based learning, the usage of medical databases, and the role of medical libraries. Some information management programs are also discussed as examples of ways of transmitting library and information skills.
